Keynote Speaker: DR. MIMI SECOR Nurse Practitioner, National Speaker/ Educator/Entrepreneur; #1 International Best-selling Author; Health and Fitness Advocate Dr. Secor is a national speaker and guest lecturer at NP programs in New England and around the country. She has years of media experience including as a national radio host on ReachMD. A guest on Good Morning America, interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe and many others. She is a frequent guest on various podcasts nationally, internationally and is quoted in many articles.

Dr. Mimi Secor has worked for 42 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women's Health and more recently Health and Fitness. She is Senior Faculty with APEA. In 2018, she was inducted as a “Fellow” in the prestigious American Academy of Nursing. She has received several awards including 2018 being selected as one of the Top 10 NPs in the U.S. by her peers (sponsored by POCN) and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Coalition of NPs for her contributions to the NP profession. In 2015, Dr. Secor earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. She received the 2015 Student Service Award from Rocky Mountain University for her contributions to the NP profession.
The following year (2016) she was in her 1st bodybuilding competition, making her “Debut at Age 62” and in 2018 she placed 2nd in her fourth competition. She has also published extensively, including her NEW #1 International Best-Selling book, “Debut a New You: Transforming Your Life at Any Age”. NEW 2018 (4th edition) co-authored textbook, Advanced Health Assessment of Women; Skills and Procedures, AND her NEW 2018 (2nd edition) co-authored textbook, Fast Facts About the Gynecologic Exam for Nurse Practitioners, PAs and Midwives- both by Springer Publishing. Dr. Mimi Secor is in business with her daughter (a Pro Body Builder, and trainer), as “Coach Kat and Dr Mimi.com” and their passion is helping NPs become Healthy and Fit. They offer a variety of programs including a 6-month intensive mentorship program.

The Hotel Hot Springs (next door to the Hot Springs Convention Center) is our host hotel with a great group rate to accommodate our attendees. The rate is $119/night (plus taxes & fees). PAC Masquerade
Come celebrate the success of our 2021 legislative session and help raise money for the coming session. This event will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center on Friday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm. For the first hour there will be an open bar followed by a cash bar. We will have heavy hors d'oeuvres nd lots of fun and games. You will have the opportunity to hear from our legislative champions. Some of the games will require cash donations, so bring cash in denominations of $1, $5, and $10. You do NOT want to miss this event. This conference is offered to nurse practitioners for continuing education purposes. This education activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners for approval of up to 11 contact hours of accredited
education.
