Please join us for the 2024 Annual Conference May 3rd and 4th at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock with a bonus pre-conference opioid education event on May 2nd.

The keynote speaker will be Amelie Hollier, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN.

Amelie Hollier is a certified nurse practitioner, a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (now American Association of Nurse Practitioners), a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, co-founder of Advanced Practice Education Associates (APEA), and serves as a reviewer for the Journal for Nurses Practitioners. She has authored or co-authored 26 books for nurse practitioners, including certification review books and clinical practice guidelines. She has presented numerous continuing education programs for nurse practitioners and students across the country. While these accomplishments are very impressive, they don’t begin to describe Amelie’s passion for teaching and learning. She brings her south Louisiana charm to every presentation. She delivers every session in an informative, engaging, and real life style.

This education activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® for approval of up to 21 contact hours of accredited education.

THURSDAY OPIOID EDUCATION EVENT

Please join us for a special pre-conference presentation on Thursday, May 2nd-- Combating the Opioid Crisis: Strategies for Busy Clinicians. This event helps partially fulfill the one-time, 8-hour training requirement for all DEA-registered practitioners on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. This education activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® for approval of up to 4 contact hours of accredited education.This event will take place in the Marriott's Conway meeting room from 12:15-5:00pm. Welcome meet-and-greet reception to immediately follow. Registration for the pre-conference is $50 for general admission and $40 for those registered for Friday and Saturday's conference. THURSDAY WELCOME MEET-AND-GREET RECEPTION

Join us as we kick off our fabulous conference weekend and celebrate our Association's 10th anniversary at a welcome meet-and-greet reception Thursday, May 2nd from 5:00-7:00pm in the beautiful Riverview event space overlooking the Arkansas River at the Marriott. This event is open to all NPs attending the 2024 ANPA Conference.

This is a special opportunity for NP entrepreneurs and NP-related businesses (legal, accounting, finance, billing/coding, credentialing, marketing, HR, IT, etc.) to make connections and lasting impressions with a casual yet elegant setting. Registration Refund and Cancellation Policy

To cancel your registration and request a refund email conference@anpassociation.org. Cancellations received prior to April 1, 2024 are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be provided after April 2, 2024.

Saturday Lunch Product Theatre

The lunch theater is an opportunity to provide information and demonstrations from recent research on products and/or drugs to a targeted group. Due to the promotional aspect of these 60-minute sessions, continuing education contact hours are not provided. There are no ANPA educational sessions held during
the scheduled Product Theater times. Only one Product Theater is available at a time giving your company exclusive presentation rights during that time. The sponsoring company must appoint a speaker to present content related to the company’s products and/or services. Because the session is promotional, information can address a specific drug or product.
