CONGRATULATIONS to Katelin Cooper, MNSc, APRN, C-NP

Posted about 6 years ago by Alisa Lancaster

Katelin Cooper has received the distinguished honor of being selected to participate in the AANP Health Policy Fellowship program. This program provides AANP members with a comprehensive fellowship experience at the center of health policy and politics in Washington, DC. It is an outstanding opportunity for members with an interest in health care policy to promote the health of the nation.

The Fellowship consists of a four-week on-site experience in the AANP Government Affairs office in Alexandria, Virginia, providing additional support to the staff for health policy leadership development activities. Katelin will attend relevant Congressional briefings, political fundraisers, policy seminars, and meetings. Involvement in research activities may include reviewing literature; collecting, checking, and analyzing data; gathering information; and preparing reports.

Katelin was the first person to ever be selected from Arkansas, or any southern state, and the only person from a rural area!

Please join us as we congratulate our own ANPA District 6 Representative, Katelin Cooper! (You may congratulate Katelin @ KCooper@anpassociation.org)
