ANPA would like to congratulate, Katherine Darling, one of the founding members of our association, on being chosen as the 2018 Recent Alumna Award Winner for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC).
An Outstanding Alumnus Award is awarded each year based upon recommendations from UTHSC College of Nursing alumni, faculty, or other UTHSC College of Nursing constituents; and upon approval by the Nominating Committee of the UTHSC College of Nursing Alumni Board of Directors.
The Outstanding Alumnus Award is not limited to those in active nursing practice and will recognize a UTHSC College of Nursing graduate and|or a PhD nursing graduate who has distinguished himself|herself in the areas of:
- Community service
- Leadership in local, state or national health professional organizations
- Nursing practice, teaching and/or research activities
- Any other area or areas of performance or accomplishment that the Alumni Board determines to be of consideration
