Jonathon Rose is the 2022 Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association Outstanding Nurse Practitioner.
Jonathon was nominated by Wendy Nicole Roberts who wrote:
Jonathan Rose is an exemplary Nurse Practitioner and is an integral part of our team. I have personally known Jonathan for 3 years, and 1 of those years consisted of working with him while he was an RN. For the last two years, Jonathan has grown so much as an Advanced Practice Provider. He exemplifies outstanding clinical practice skills and serves as a preceptor to new bedside as well as APRN students. In his short tenure as an APRN, he has participated in multiple continuing education activities and has stepped up on multiple occasions within the last two years to help our team.
The last two years of practice have not been easy for anyone, but Jonathan has definitely exceeded standards of practice. He has picked up multiple shifts when staff were sick or patients needed extra care. He has most definitely increased awareness and recognition of NPs by serving as a preceptor and by setting an example for further APRNs. Jonathan also participates in providing service to the community by providing health education to bedside staff and by serving on COVID-19 pandemic committees at our local hospital. Jonathan Rose is a wonderful candidate to receive an outstanding APRN award as he is a role model for new and upcoming APRNs and how they should practice. He utilizes all resources available to him to deliver the best-evidenced base research care to all patients he encounters!
We would also like to congratulate our other nominees: Julia Ponder, Tiffany Lack, Michelle Griffin, Tammy Lusk, and Julie Wylie.
