ANPA is accepting nominations for the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association 2026 Outstanding Nurse Practitioner Award.
You must be a member of ANPA to be nominated for this award. Eligible nominees must be currently licensed as a certified nurse practitioner residing in the state of Arkansas. Nominees do not need to be members of ANPA.
Self-nominations are not accepted. Members of the Board of Directors of the ANPA and their family members are not eligible for this award.
Nominees should demonstrate excellence in one of more of the following areas at local or state level:

- Clinical practice
- Precepting
- Increasing awareness and recognition of NPs
- Service to the community.

You must provide your contact information, the nominee’s name, email address, and phone number. Write a short (no more than 350-word) paragraph stating why the nominee should receive this award.
Nominations are open January 1, 2026 through February 15, 2026. The winner will be notified no later than March 15.
The winner will receive:

- Name added to ANPA Outstanding NP award plaque
- 1-year free membership to ANPA
- Free registration to the 2025 annual conference.

The Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association (ANPA) is pleased to announce the application for a $500 educational grant for an active student member of ANPA. This grant will be awarded in April 2026.
The applicant must be enrolled in a Nurse Practitioner (NP) master’s, post-master’s, or Doctoral NP program. The grant is a one-time monetary award given directly to the recipient. See the attached Survey Monkey for application. The application criteria is below.
Criteria for eligibility include:
- Hold a current, active Arkansas RN License
- Be a resident of Arkansas
- Current member of ANPA
- US citizen or legal resident
- Initial NP licensure applicants will have completed at least one semester of accredited NP program and submit a verification letter from the NP program director stating your current enrollment status and number of hours for upcoming semester enrollment
- Post-master’s certificate and DNP students must submit verification letter from the NP program director stating your current enrollment status and number of hours for upcoming semester enrollment
- Provide a copy of most recent official transcript and hold a current GPA of 3.2 or greater
- Provide copy of NP program of study requirements
- Provide two letters of professional reference
- Submit a typed personal letter describing overall educational and career goals. Include why you want to become a nurse practitioner or attain a new NP concentration and why you should be considered for the grant. Letter needs to be 500 words or less
- Applicant cannot be a member of the ANPA board of directors or a family member of an ANPA board member
Application deadline will be February 15, 2026 for the Spring 2026 grant.
