Governor Proclamation Signing
Posted about 2 years ago in NP Week
The Governor’s office contacted us to let us know the Photo Op is changed to Thursday, November 17th at 3:15pm due to unforeseen schedule changes we hope you can still join us on Thursday please change your schedule for the new day and time we will meet everyone at 3:00 pm in the Rotunda!
November 13-19 is National Nurse Practitioner Week. Governor Asa Hutchinson has signed the Proclamation and he is offering a Photo Op on Thursday, November 17th at 3:15pm in commemoration. The message from his office is "the bigger the better" and we couldn't agree more. So we would love to have Nurse Practitioners from across the state show up for this great opportunity to meet with the Governor and celebrate Nurse Practitioner Week in Arkansas. No RSVP is needed but the photo location will depend on the number present. We will be on his timeline, so we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early. If you have any questions, feel free to message our AANP State Liaison, Julia Ponder via email: ponderjulia@hotmail.com
We look forward to seeing at the Arkansas State Capitol (500 Woodlane Ave in Little Rock) on Friday, November 17 at 3:00 p.m! We will meet you in the Rotunda.

So bummed I won't be able to make it. Full clinic day 11/18.
I will be there, the more the merrier!
This is wonderful news! Unfortunately, I will be at the SVIN meeting. Is there any opportunity to let him know that more of us would like to be there? Can we sign a virtual letter with a personal message or something that could be presented to him? I always wonder if they realize that many more would love to be there...
I'll be there. So excited about this opportunity.
Rhonda, I think that is a GREAT idea! We will reach out to you.
I plan to be there
