NP Week: Scholarship Sunday Honoring Trailblazers, Empowering the Future

As we celebrate #NP Week 2025, ANPA is kicking off this year honoring the legacy of Dr. Loretta Ford! In 2023, Dr. Stephen Ferrara, AANP Immediate Past President stated “Thanks to Dr. Ford’s vision and determination, the nation’s nurse practitioners continue to prioritize the needs of patients...I cannot think of a more important health care hero than Dr. Ford. I am grateful for her foresight in founding the first NP program nearly 60 years ago.”
