The Sustainable Growth Rate repeal is official

Today the US Senate repealed the "sustainable growth-rate formula for paying doctors, ending more than a decade of legislative gridlock on the issue." reports Paul Demko, who is Modern Healthcare's Washington bureau chief and leads coverage of Congress. This historic vote will assure the continuance of the Children's Health Insurance Program, also known as CHIP and will block a 21.2% reduction in Medicare payments to providers.
